Tesco is simply HUGE and it is forever growing, it was founded in 1912 in the Londons East End and has spread like wildfire, Tesco is an international grocery and all around general item retail chain. Believe it or not Tesco is Britains largest retailer, and with yearly profits exceeding thirteen billion pounds it is not hard to see why. It takes third place in the worldwideglobal retailer kingdom, second to Walmart and Carrefour.

In April 2005 Tesco became the first retailer in the United Kingdom to reveal yearly profits of over two billion pounds, thsi has grown consistently over the following years and will continue to do so as more stores are opened and existing smaller stores are upgraded to new super stores.
